The San Diego County Investment Pool is a local government pool with approximately $5.2 billion in assets as of April 30, 2007. The primary objective of the Pool, in order of importance, are safety, liquidity and yield.

The Pool is headed by the San Diego County Treasurer-
Tax Collector, an elected office that is responsible for tax collection, banking, investment, disbursement and accountability of public funds. Depositors in the Pool include the County of San Diego, K-12 school districts, community colleges and various special districts and agencies in the County of San Diego.
